I grew up in a very sports-oriented household. Both my mom and dad played baseball and softball growing up but stopped after high school. Being on the diamond was a given fate for me; the first time I took the field was when I was 8 years old. It wasn't until I was 12 years old that my parents took me to my first pitching lesson. I didn’t like it at first, but now I don’t see myself anywhere else but in the circle.

I played for Granada Hills Charter High my sophomore and junior year of high school. My sophomore year I was awarded with 2nd Team All-League. My senior year I took a break only find myself back on the mound my freshman year of college at LA Mission. At the end of the year I was voted a Western State Conference Honorable Mention selection, and as a sophomore I’m hoping to use my experience and growth to lead my team from the mound.

I’m majoring in Psychology and with this I hope to become a middle school counselor.
