The Moorpark College Men's Soccer team continued WSC North action hosting LA Mission in the beginning of week before hosting Santa Barbara to cap off the week.
In the week's opener, the Raiders took the early lead and opened the scoring in the 24th minute on Troy Mishikanian's dazzler past the keeper and took a 1-0 lead over league leading Mission. Trailing, the Eagels started to press the Raiders and the game started to become physical. The Raider defense bent but didn't break for most of the game. Mission broke through in the 76th minute to tie the game and get the tie 1-1.
In the Santa Barbara game, the Raiders gave up an early goal in thw 12th minute and Santa Barbara packed in the defense and was content to hang on for the 1-0 win.
The Raiders are currently 4-6-3 overall and 0-2-2 in WSC North. The Raiders will host Hancock on Tuesday, October 29th at 4p and Oxnard on Friday, November 1st at 4p
