Hi my name is Melissa Mejorada, I'm 19 years old and I've been with cross country for two semesters. Before cross country I didn't do any form of exercise, maybe the occasional jogging a crosswalk but not much more than that. Cross country has changed me not only physically but mentally because I am able to handle more stress than I thought I ever could. I am also a part of a great team that pushes me to be the best athlete I can be. Besides cross country I'm majoring in Health Science hoping to transfer into a good nursing program. My top choices would be UC Irvine, UC Los Angeles, CSU Los Angeles, or Mount Saint Mary's. In my free time I love to relax and just listen to music. It helps me balance out our crazy workouts by getting as much rest as I can.
