Women’s Volleyball Plays Bakersfield Friday

The Women’s Volleyball team will be playing Bakersfield College in its second match of conference.

The match will be at Los Angeles Mission College at 6 p.m.

The Eagles are currently 1-0 in conference after defeating Antelope Valley College last Friday.

Mission won set one by coming out strong early on offense but dropped set two when they struggled to find an answer for AVC outside hitter Tiffany Matchett.

In set three the coaching staff had the team focus more on Matchett and they were able to win the last two sets and take the match 3 sets to 1.

The Eagles continue to make impressive plays on defense and maintain a high level of serving which they hope will bring them success for the rest of the season.

Overall they have a record of 9-4.
