Women’s Volleyball Begins the Second Half of Conference

Conference play continues this Friday for the Eagles who will be hosting Antelope Valley College.

Los Angeles Mission currently has a conference record of 2-2 and an overall record of 10-6.

In the Conference the Eagles have lost to College of the Canyons and Bakersfield and have wins over West L.A. College and AVC.

The coaching staff the Mission still believes the window to win conference is open since the eagles have won they games they needed to up to this point.

A factor that is keeping the conference standings up in the air is that last week Canyons who was ranked in the state lost to unranked Bakersfield.

This makes the fight to win the conference more realistic for the eagles going into the next few weeks.

The Eagles have played well up to this point highlighting their defense and strong serving as the reason for their success.

They remain the second best serving team in the state averaging just over 3 aces per set.

Their home match against AVC will start at 6 pm on November 2.
