Doug Maggiora will be in his first season working with the Eagle pitching staff.

Maggiora spent 20 years coaching high school baseball at Valencia HS(2001-2004), and Saugus HS(1997-2000, 2006-2017). The 2003 Valencia HS team reached the CIF Division 2 Semifinals. The 2012 and 2015 Saugus HS teams reached the CIF Division 1 Quarterfinals and Semifinals, respectively.

Collegiately, Maggiora pitched  at The Masters College(1995-96), Nicholls State University(1994), and College of the Canyons JC(1992-93). Maggiora garnered 1^st-team All-Conference honors for COC in 1992. Maggiora prepped at Saugus HS(class of 1991). He was Cal-Hi Sports All-State(1990), and still holds the school record for most consecutive wins(17) from 1990-1991. The 1989 Saugus HS team played in the CIF Finals at Dodger Stadium.

Maggiora holds (2) B.A. Degrees in Mathematics/Business from Cal State University of Northridge. He currently teaches Mathematics at Saugus HS.
