Stefanie, 26, was born and raised in Sylmar and has been an active member of the community her whole life, including playing softball at SIBL as a child.
She graduated in 2009 from Bishop Alemany High School, where she played volleyball, basketball, and softball, and was awarded Most Athletic Female in her senior class. From Alemany, she went to College of the Canyons for a semester and then transferred to Mission in Spring 2010. During that time, she was hired as the Women’s Volleyball Junior Varsity Assistant Coach at Alemany.
In 2011 she began a two-year stint playing for LAMC Women’s Volleyball, after which she served as an assistant coach for the 2013 team. She then played for Mission Softball in the 2013-2014 season. She started as a student worker in the Fitness Center in 2012, and after four years was hired in May 2016 as the Evening Facility Assistant.
Stefanie earned her Associate’s Degree from Mission in 2014 and then transferred to CSUN, where she is currently studying Kinesiology & Nutrition.
