Luis Garcia will enter his first year as men's soccer head coach at LA Mission College. He was on the CSUN men's soccer staff from 2013-2017 handling travel, recruiting, academics, and other administrative duties. During his time at CSUN, the team made conference playoffs 4 times, qualified for NCAA playoffs twice, and won 1 Big West Conference title.

Garcia coaches with Real SoCal, where he heads the U-19 ECNL team and a very competitive 2012 boys team.

A two-year letter winner for the Matadors, Garcia competed for CSUN in 2011 and 2012. He played in 20 matches and finished with a goal and two assists in 2012 as the Matadors captured the Big West Tournament title for the first time in program history.

Garcia played two seasons at Moorpark College where he was second-team all-conference in 2008 and first-team all-conference in 2009 along with leading goal scorer on the team before coming to CSUN. He attended Frances Polytechnic High School in Sun Valley.

Garcia graduated from CSUN in 2013 with a degree in Sociology. In 2016, Garcia received his Master's Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University.
